Guide on how to use the denukify system to restore your Discord

Important Information (please read)

Golden Bot can restore channels and roles even if you add the bot after the nuke happened, that's what sets Golden Bot apart from the competition! Unfortunately through this process, the order of the channels, some of the permissions and the messages obviously will be lost but it's a good start at getting everything back up and running.

The denukify system can only restore changes from within the previous 45 days, currently restricted to a maximum of restoring 100 roles or channels due to the inefficient nature of restoring more at a time which degrades the user experience for everyone else using the bot at that point in time. If you need to restore more than 100 channels or roles please join the support server where we can help you get around this limitation with our test bot. https://support.goldendev.net UPDATE: The channel restoration limit has been increased to 500.

The denukify commands can ONLY be used by the server owner and Golden_Dev(Golden Bot's Creator) if they have administrator on the server but nobody else for security reasons. If the owner account is not accessible then you must join the support server and request further assistance in the process of restoring the server. The reason why there are so many restrictions is that if used improperly you can essentially nuke your own server by deleting all the channels and such so be sure to read over all the confirmation messages before you press the CONFIRM button and use it wisely! 👍https://support.goldendev.net

Forum channels along with media channels are currently unsupported and will be added in future versions of denukify. Announcement channels are automatically converted back into normal text channels due to incompatibilities.

Make sure that you get the userId of the account that you're trying to undo the actions of. Developer Mode + userId

The current maximum for the limit of items to be recovered is 100. A system to allow for a higher limit is under development and if you need to recover more than 100 channels/roles then please join our support server and we'll gladly help :) https://support.goldendev.net

Purge Channels

Now find the command, enter their userId + the limit on the max number of channels to purge.

In order for the bot to continue you must confirm that this is what you want to do, after 15 seconds the button will time out and you will have to run the command again by pressing the UP arrow on pc or retype the command. This is a safeguard so you don't unintentionally destroy your own server.

The following confirmation message will appear when you press the confirmation button. If nothing happens then it's possible that the bot has already purged/recovered all applicable data. There is a 10 minute cooldown on all of the basic purge/restore commands that is handled per command. It is 20 minutes for the purge all channels command.

Purge All-Channels

Find + submit the command

In order for the bot to continue you must confirm that this is what you want to do, after 15 seconds the button will time out and you will have to run the command again by pressing the UP arrow on pc or retype the command. This is a safeguard so you don't unintentionally destroy your own server.

While there is technically a confirmation message you won't be able to see it because the channels were destroyed unless you sent in a rules channel or other channel that can't be destroyed by conventional means. The Purge All-Channels command has a 20 minute cooldown after confirming

Purge Roles

Important Notice

Golden Bot can only manage roles that are below its highest role with the manage roles permission. Make sure to put Golden Bot's role above any role you need to manage
