By using Golden Bot, you agree to the following terms of service agreement. This agreement is between you and Golden Development, the owner and operator of this bot.
Golden Development does not officially offer any form of refunds or exchanges. You as the customer are expected to review and consider the item you are purchasing. Each of our premium subscriptions has a free trial during which you can cancel your subscription before the first payment at any time. Once you are a paying customer you will still have the freedom to cancel at any time but cannot reclaim spent funds. All sales are final unless otherwise determined on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are unfair to the seller as the seller is left with the transaction fees in both the purchase and refund. This is why we offer a trial on all of our subscriptions. For any single purchase transactions, there will also be no official support for refunds but they can be handled case-by-case with our support team on our official Discord server. For defective services or products, we ask that you reach out either via our support Discord or email for appropriate credit or another form of compensation if applicable.
The Bot is designed to provide users with various functionalities on Discord, such as moderation and server management utilities. By using this Bot, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement.
You must not use this Bot in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent, or for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You may not use the Bot to distribute or share any malicious software or content that may harm the Bot or any user. You may not use the Bot to harass, threaten, defame any other user, or engage in any activity violating Discord’s community guidelines.
The Bot and its contents, features, and functionality are the property of Golden Development and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reproduce any part of the Bot without the express written consent of Golden Development.
The Bot is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Golden Development makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Bot, and disclaims all liability for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the Bot or its content.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Golden Development and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Bot or breach of this Agreement
Our Discord bot collects data from users in order to execute commands properly. This may include user IDs, usernames, and other information necessary to complete the requested action. We do not collect or store any sensitive information, such as passwords or payment details. Some data collection may require user consent due to the sensitivity of the data.
By using our Bot and its commands, you consent to the collection and use of this data. We will not share or sell this data to third parties unless required by law.
Golden Development reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and your access to the Bot at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason or no reason, including but not limited to your breach of this Agreement or Discord’s community guidelines. Some of the probable reasons are listed as the following:
Racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination
Scams, or other illegal activities
Discord TOS or bot TOS violations
Taking advantage of the free bot, using up too many resources, or having a significant impact on our hosting costs
Harassing our support team, anyone associated with the bot or its community, or in general in extreme cases
This Agreement shall be governed by the construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
When a premium subscription is cancelled—whether manually by the user, through expiry, or for non-payment—Golden Development will retain core configuration data (e.g., server settings, premium feature configurations) for a minimum of 30 days. Temporary or dynamic user-generated data, such as ticket transcripts, logs, or other ephemeral content, will be retained for a minimum of 7 days.
During this retention period, all such data will be considered in a "limbo" state, meaning it is stored securely but is not accessible, viewable, or usable by the user or any server members. After the respective retention windows, data may be permanently deleted at our discretion.
A one-time reinstatement surcharge may apply to resume a cancelled subscription. This surcharge will vary based on the length of the cancellation period and is intended to offset administrative and resource costs associated with resuming inactive services. All subscription-related activity, including cancellations, reinstatements, and expiry dates, will be transparently logged in your server’s dedicated logs channel.
Please note: Promotional offers and discounts are valid only upon the initial sign-up or when upgrading a subscription, and may not be reapplied if a subscription is cancelled and later resumed.
Golden Development may offer a marketplace feature allowing users to list and sell user-generated content (e.g., templates, modules, bots, or scripts) for credits. This feature is currently under development, and these terms are provided in advance to ensure compliance once launched.
Marketplace Credits ("Credits") are a digital currency valid only within the Golden Bot ecosystem. Credits are non-refundable and can be purchased through various payment packages, with 1 Credit equal to at least $0.01 USD. Bulk purchases or promotional events may offer more favorable exchange rates, but in no event will credits have any redeemable cash value.
Credits may be used to:
Purchase digital content listed on the Golden Bot Marketplace.
Pay for premium subscriptions (credits must cover the full cost of a subscription cycle; partial payments are not accepted).
Purchase services directly from Golden Development, such as custom development work.
When using credits for any transaction, a base transaction fee of 10% will be applied. Additional fees or modifiers may apply depending on the product category or service type (to be detailed in future updates).
Important policies regarding credits:
Credits are non-transferable and cannot be sold or traded to other users.
There is no official exchange system for converting credits back to cash or other currencies.
Attempts to resell or exchange credits outside of the official platform are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination.
When credits are used mid-subscription, the billing cycle will be extended accordingly, and no partial refunds or mixed payment methods will be supported.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Golden Development regarding the use of the Bot. It supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the Bot.
By using the Bot, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. The terms of service are very general and can be applied to members, users, and guilds(servers)

If you require an extension to these retention periods or assistance in restoring a subscription, you may contact our customer support team via our. Extensions are granted at the sole discretion of Golden Development.
We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will provide notice via our Discord server and will ping the Policies Update Role which can be selected during the onboarding processing upon joining or later in the Channels and Roles tab. Changes to mentioned pages or documents as part of these terms but not specifically on this page may not result in a notification.
